Sean Cody knows how to end 2011 with a bang! By introducing its first BAREBACK video entitled Brandon & Pierce Unwrapped. Bel Ami calls its bareback videos “Condomless,” Chaos Men refers to it as “Raw.” And Sean Cody use the term “Unwrapped.”

So hot ex-Marine Pierce was going to get fucked by muscle stud Brandon. Pierce was excited about that… but there was also another reason he was excited.

They weren’t going to use condoms.

This was something totally new for us. But both of our guys had been through a strict testing protocol.

So we were all excited… and when Brandon’s naked cock went into Pierce’s hole, we agreed it was the hottest thing we’ve ever seen! “It was awesome,” Pierce said afterward. “There was no friction at all… I could really feel him inside me!”

Whether this just a one time thing or Sean Cody will produce more bareback videos in 2012, we have to wait and see. Maybe it’s a peer pressure since Bel Ami, Corbin Fisher and Chaos Men all have produced bareback scenes.

Although it might seem hot, it seems like SC has crossed over to the dark side of porn now.

It starts with how hot people thing barebacking it, and then it crosses to how these actors lose work because of STDs, and then they have to find work with companies that promote sex with other actors who have STDs, until that actors is burned out and can’t carry on doing porn because of health problems.

If they start churning out more bb scenes, then that will be the signal that their business model is starting to slip…the irony will be that as more bb video sites on the internet appear, this business model will slip as well.

I love watching BB but realize it is of considerable time and effort if one is concerned about his health.

As freeing as raw sex is in the moment, it’s really limiting as you are in some respects tied to that partner for at least 8 mos afterwards. So the challenge for the actors, amongst others, is how & who he plays with in his personal life afterwards.

With condoms, a guy can do anyone anytime with a lot less risk but BB demands a lack of or less promiscuity, occasional periods of abstinence and/or condom usage and a certain sense of monogamy whenever possible IF he cares about his health.

I love BB but recently lost a friend to lung cancer. He smoked most of his life. It’s another sad and tragic way to lose someone to something so preventable.

I disagree with some of you. If SC did decide to do more BB scenes, then I don’t consider the company to be going downhill. Look at CorbinFisher. They’ve been doing both condom & BB porn and the quality of men doing either of those 2 or both has not diminished. There are still extremely attractive guys as there were at the beginning of the company. I do hope that they continue testing their models, as I don’t want them to all look like they’re sick and on the verge of death like on MachoFucker & TIM

I guess all people cheering at this do not know anyone who has AIDS or have never tried the tritherapy medicine themselves…It’s sad that Seancody , the last one in the stronghold surrenders to this trend .
JVC , I have a friend who got cancer too just 2 years after contracting HIV , he didn’t want to take the medicine at first but his immune system could not stand it and that’s how the cancer developed , he was 26!!…now he has undergone chemotherapy AND has to take the HIV drugs. He looks 10 years older than he is and is life quality has tremendously worsened …He got it after being raped with GHB, always used/uses condoms otherwise…not willingly then . Like it or not , porn does set trends and this will have consequences among youngsters when the safer sex message is so poorly passed on these days.
    Very sad.

Unwrapped is the pun, folks…and on Christmas to boot. They’ve unwrapped their new direction and it is barebacking. They can sugarcoat it all they want with a cute term, but it is barebacking. I love how these sites try to run from what they are doing by giving it a different name. Their clips now have a new look in the beginning to let you know you are watching stuff after the dawn of their bareback adventure.

I watched the clip and had to wonder what the need for going bareback is? Brandon still didn’t suck cock. They guys fucked and it looked just the same as if a clear condom was on. He pulled out and shot the load…just like with a condom. Only difference is that they did the TIM/Chaos trademark stick it back in after you’ve come to make sure the bottom is good and infected.

I guess porn is a lot like advertising, it’s time to focus less on the concern of older folk and concentrate on the younger kids who are ignorant to the dangers of AIDS/HIV.

I hope SC makes their butt load of money since it will never equal the value of one gay kids life.

I think it’s good they do bb. HIV and STI testing is becoming more readily available and the tests they use are far superior than the ones before. With these tests it’s likely that more studios will do more bb.
Also, these videos- especially on sites like SC, CF, CM etc- emphasize again and again that their models are testing. They don’t encourage random bb hookups. They say it’s ok (though not perfectly acceptable, mind) to partake in bb sex but just ensure you get tested.

SeanCody has the nerve to say the following in his promotion of the scene: So we were all excited… and when Brandon’s naked cock went into Pierce’s hole, we agreed it was the hottest thing we’ve ever seen! “It was awesome,” Pierce said afterward. “There was no friction at all… I could really feel him inside me!”

SeanCody is just trying to cash in on the BB craze that the gay porn world is cashing in on…it is total bullshit and irresponsible to promote it in this manner.

Even if you follow strict testing antibodies for HIV take 3-6 months to show up…but oh well this little fast seems to be forgotten in the gay world as long as the models are HOT and there is CUM flying all about.

The only difference with Chaosmen, SeanCody, CorbinFisher vs TIM is that the former models are younger and more vital making the assumption that BB sex is NOT dangerous…well wait a few years and you will see these supposed “straight men” on sites like TIM after HIV and medication has taken its toll.

So not only are they inducing guys to have risky sex with a stranger for, what, $1000, but they’ve got to make out like bb is the hottest thing ever seen & felt. I’m all for freedom of personal choice but people who make a buck promoting and encouraging bb are scumbags. Sean Cody has gone from being one of my favourite studios to being another symbol of the greed and heartlessness in a lot of porn today. They’re one of the highest profile studios in the world and their guys are usually on fan favourite lists every year. Why piss all over a good reputation like this?

Brandon still did not do a lot, but if I was having sex with him that’s all he would need to do. A chance to eat that ass is all I’m asking for. LOL

Seriously though, as a long term Cody member (4 years) I though that it was very important to show that safe sex was hot sex and that what they have been doing. To go off in this direction may not be a permanent change, but a choice left to the two guys. Now with the incentive of extra money who knows how many more of these videos will come out.

It would be nice for Sean to make statement as to what their intentions are?

SC is bring back the art. I like the way the guys were allowed to say other things than just moans and of course sex the way nature intended. So much better for the camera. My only complaint is small but when the scene transitioned into anal the initial penetration seemed to be too short in length and the camera angle seemed less than ideal and Pierce’s hole didn’t seem to have any resistance to Brandon’s dick upon penetration. Yet producers call on those items.

@Neal, Yes your correct. SC has deleted those scenes from the site years ago along with quite a few others titles that were not “bareback” I like to properly catalog titles so some of these web studios including older SC are tricky like that. Think about this: HIV meds do not work for everyone. Some have severe reactions, some are immune to certain drugs, and for thousands, if not millions of ppl around the world either do not have access or cannot afford to buy them.

Even if you do well on the meds, there are long term health issues, such as heart disease caused by either the meds or the infection. There are others just as devastating. So if the meds work there is still a HUGE possibility that you will die prematurely from that.

I’m not an anti bb zealot, but I do think those that think it is no big deal, and that not using condoms is what “real men” do according to another poster here are sadly wrong.

The new DNA tests are much better but not 100% accurate. The recent HIV scare in str8 porn of a false positive from a g4p model who works in both gay and str8 is a prime example.

Also, using a condom or not there is absolutely no difference in sensations. It’s psychosomatic if you think it is, then your minds tricks you into actualy believing you feel a difference. Once past the outer ring and the sphincter muscle there are NO NERVE ENDINGS INSIDE. So you cannot feel the cum splashing or skin on skin friction in the bottoms case.

There are many rationalizations for BB. But that still does not negate the risk.

Those whose fetish is bb only are placing the gun in the hand of these guys. And making the younger gay generation that has never seen how devasting HIV can be, even with the new meds, believe it is safe to BB when it isn’t.

I certainly hope all the actors doing BB will not convert to HIV+. And ultimately it is their choice. Usually it involves more money. I’m sure that is a motivation factor for many.

I think Sean Cody, will continue to test there models in bareback or condom users. I think that they really care about the models and would leave the choice of weather they want to do bareback or use condoms. Nothing is 100% safe when it comes to sex and no matter what they do. They will be better than going to a studio who is all about making money without helping or atleast trying to do the right thing for the model. So, lets hope this is whats happening here. They said at the beginning that they left that choice up to the model, then had them tested before the shoot, so I would be sure that they tried to talk to them about HIV and other things that could go wrong with people who have unprotected sex.

“I think that they really care about the models”

If they really cared about the models and not the almighty $$ then they wouldn’t even change their business model to include barebacking.

SC didn’t just open the door to barebacking on their site, they glorified it. They stressed in the write-up and in the video how much better sex is without a condom and how cool it was that he busted then shoved it back inside him. Even made a joke about breeding him.

Honestly, this stuff should be flat-out illegal.

    1. It’s a hazardous work environment. It’s exactly like putting people into facilities that manufacture potentially deadly chemicals (e.g., drain opener, pesticides, explosives) without supplying, and requiring, physical protection.

    2. They are taking advantage of stupid young kids thinking with their dicks and/or enticed by easy money. (Sorry, but let’s be honest, if you are doing porn — for the whole world to see on the internet — you are probably not thinking carefully or clearly. You are certainly ruling out many, many future careers.)

    3. They are modeling and eroticizing unsafe sex generally — which is simply irresponsible.

Queer Me Now, by the way, should step up to the plate, and stop publicizing these scenes, if not refuse to publicize or associate with companies that create bareback content.

Heterosexuals porn stars have had ANAL sex for years. A bottie is a bootie regardless of if your male or female. If we are going to have an outcry, it needs to be for the entire porn industry not just gay sex. RAW anal sex regardless of if its male on male or male on female is going to have some risk. Given the fact that most male hetero porn stars are freaks off camera, they probably live bi-sexual lives and just choose to record their heterosexual sexual escapades.

Bottom line is, in 2011 with all the sexual freakyness everyone is into, I’d prefer to protest NO BB porn for the entire industry than to limit it to just gay porn. And thats IF i chose to protest (of which Im not).

If SC is opening up to BB porn now, well, it is what it is. This is the route studios are choosing to take. I’ll believe SC is falling off the map when they show dudes BB that are apparently high on crack, skinny with ribs showing through their cheast, and bottoms who could fit a wide screen LCD up their bootie’s. Thats what I consider low class, trashy, and basicaly a knock at deaths door (i.e. macho fuckers models).

Lots of stupid assumptions. I am HIV+ and I am a long term survivor and I take HAART. I have been a member of SC since the mid 1990’s. Finally, SC has moved into the modern world where real men negotiate how they fuck. Including doing it without condoms and for money on film. It is how the world is. The more we base our actions on facts and science like RNA by PCR, maybe one day the gay community will stop persecuiting those who wish to enjoy sex on their own terms. Stop the sex police. That’s what Republicans are for.

  60. T

I’m very upset by SC. I always respected him for caring about health of his models and promoting safe sex to viewers by always using condoms. When I was a teen my only exposure to gay world was porn. SC was the only porn site that taught me about risks of STDs and how unglamorous sex is in real life because of high rates of infections.

My generation of gay males are being mislead about HIV risks because we don’t see people dying like it’s the black plague of the 90s anymore. But no one wants to talk about how ruthless HIV meds are and how expensive they are. With U.S. economy going into the toilet, more public health programs that support HIV treatments are being cut. We will start seeing more men with HIV dying because they will not get funding for meds on time.

We as a gay community need to start caring for each-other. Let’s stop glamorizing and sexualizing ourselves to the point of reckless nihilism. Porn companies are responding to consumer demand of BB porn. We have no one to blame but ourselves for spreading diseases from generation to next. As a minority group, the LGBT community still has the highest rates of STDs that are not going down. No Republican, no Right Wing Christian fanatical church has killed more gay males than the LGBT community harming themselves with reckless behavior.

Testing alone is not a solution and everyone knows it.

  61. PhunkSpunk
    31 Dec 11
    11:10 pm

    T. I am sure you are a nice person and mean well, but you, like Brad up there, have your head in the sand. So, I bring up knowledge and facts again. Back in the days of “the black plague” I was a member of ACT UP and we knew then that” knowledge = power.” It might seem quaint, but it still holds true today. You make a passionate argument on the surface but when we dig into what you actually say, that’s where the sand hill comes in.
Fact: New HIV infections in the USA have remained stagnant at an alarming 55,000 (+/-) per year for nearly 20 years. Our approach to the epidemic has not worked. The primitive science of time has proven that. The days of spending good money so community organizers can feel good about themselves by placing bowls of pretty condoms in places where a gay man might wander by must come to an end and HIV testing be done in areas of high traffic health care such as emergency rooms and free and low income clinics.
Fact: 90% of all new HIV infections in the USA are driven by the 25% of individuals in this country who do not know their HIV status.
Fact: The shear knowledge of knowing one’s HIV positive status makes an infected person 70% less likely to infect another person. Provide access to care to that same person and the unlikelihood of infecting another person goes to 95%.
Fact: When we look closely at your fact that LGBT people have a higher STI rate, we find that people of color are the majority of the infected in that demographic. A black gay man or a Hispanic gay man is 4 times as likely to being infected as a white/non Hispanic man and 10 times to be in a lesser socio-economic standing and employment state. White college boys bare backing on the internet are the cause of those numbers?
Fact: American pharmaceutical companies have a tight grip on patents for HIV medications so they can milk the sick and the institutions that care for them of huge profits they then use for millions of dollars spent daily on television commercials to sell erectile dysfunction medications? With pressure from the World Health Organization, the same medications used to treat HIV in America are being made for literally pennies on the dollar in India and some continental African countries. And those forgein pharmaceutical companies are turning a profit in those counties where the patent has been lifted.
Fact: The USA out spends costs for cancer and heart disease 400 to 1 for HIV.
So, T, I ask some questions. Do we have trans fat and refined white sugar police in the grocery stores smacking wrists when the 250 pound fat woman reaches for the snickers bar? And don’t we sell huge quantities of tobacco products out of establishments known as “convenience stores?” A cost/benefit analysis would show that, based on your argument of being thrifty in treating HIV due to a bad house of cards economy, we need the sugar and tobacco police more than the sex police.
Testing is proving more and more to be a major tool in the fight against this disease. So too is men being knowledgeable enough to take the time to negotiate risk behaviors and learn the status of their partners.
If you think condoms are the answer then we wouldn’t have an infection rate that has stayed constant for 2 decades.
Condoms are not the solution and everyone knows it.

Continue defending barebacking because you want to bust a nut to a fantasy. But the fact still remains that the LGBT community HAS been making strides with safer sex campaign and condom use until recent years. Your ridiculous assertion that “white college boys” don’t get HIV because they come from better socioeconomic background is snake oil being preached to kids. Tell that to Mayson Wyler. And having everyone bareback and then making them take a test to confirm their new HIV gift achieves what exactly? Your solution is to have cheap HIV meds and having everyone on harsh pills just for what exactly ? again a 1 hour joyride? The policing should come from the community itself by taking care for each-other, and stopping, rationalization of reckless behavior in the name of fun and sex. Just look at the disgusting videos of amatuers bare-backing left and right, older and younger men all over the net; then you have a whole subgroup of mentally unstable fetishists who willingly do all these “gifts” games. SF study released last year said up to 30% of these HIV positive men are knowingly spreading “gifsts.” I’m not blaming porn alone; I’m blaming the entire community.

About testing, you can get infected on Monday, get tested on a Friday with the latest super duper DNA PCR, turn negative on the test and continue bare-backing because no test will detect so early. PCR tests still take 2-3 weeks to start detecting infections accurately.

I highly doubt most porn studios even pay for DNA PCR tests because they’re so expensive.

The only solution to reducing STIs is staring to embrace responsible behavior on all sides; condom use, stop fetishizing bareback sex as innocent or more fun, promote less alcohol and drug use that goes on in clubs impairing judgment, and let’s start addressing the wanton promiscuity cheered on widely in the community. Every gay dating site is nothing but a meat market where cock size gets you laid with a stranger every week. You can’t simply blame away highest rates of STIs in the U.S. and any Western country on black s and latinos alone.

Asserting white college boys don’t get HIV? Blaming blacks and Latino’s for HIV? I didn’t say any of that nonsense. What I said was people of disenfranchised populations are the epicenter of HIV in the United States. You, however blame the gay community for a disease. Or more likely you just like to pass blame in general. “I’m blaming the entire community “you scold us in one line of your sermon, and then go on to slam amateurs who enjoy the thing that makes being gay so much fun; I.e., sex with another human being. Words like “disgusting,” “mentally unstable” and “promiscuity” riddle your post. You and people like you are the real enemies to our community and the singular biggest roadblock to effective HIV prevention. Self- hating, fag-bashing, politically correct faggots. Oh, and as far as my “joys rides” go? They last much, much longer than an hour. I have references upon request. You ARE a true child of the internet. I agree with you on that. Go get laid. You’ll feel better. But, that’s enough about your self- hating diatribe.
You didn’t dispute the CDC numbers or the issues of effective, targeted HIV prevention in communities at highest risk. Again, it is the 25% of the unknown status individuals (gay, straight, bi, married, promiscuous, serial monogamist, black, white, et al and etc.) who drive 90% of new infections. And the strides you mention are simply not shown by any data. Entire D.E.B.I’s are being dismantled by the CDC, not because of funding, but because of bad performance and poor outcomes. That’s the Distribution of Effective Behavioral Interventions just in case you didn’t know. In other words, the condom cops.
I presented facts. You just preach. That‘s just one of the problems with HIV prevention in this country. There are too many preachers who make statements on “I highly doubt’s”. That SF study has been highly criticized by industry peers as being poorly administered and the results skewed by the researcher’s bias. Again, that’s a fact. Here’s another one for you. Guys are bare backing anyway, everywhere. Net or no net (GASP!). Drugs or no drugs. Alcohol or no alcohol. It’s been happening and will continue to happen for eternity. Oops! There’s that sand hill of yours again. As for the bad medications you so easily and off handedly tout as being horrible and evil have and are saving millions of lives every day all over the world. I know a beautiful woman in Tanzania who would eagerly explain to you how access to HAART medications has literally changed her life. But you probably don’t leave that bridge you live under to experience real people living with the disease. They’re all just a bunch of “gift givers.” Every last HIV+ person. Right? BURN THE WITCHES! It’s what they do in Uganda. T, honey, is that what you would suggest right here in Sodom and Gomorrah America? It sure sounds like it.
You asked me a question: “And having everyone bareback and then making them take a test to confirm their new HIV gift achieves what exactly?” Here is your answer: I didn’t say anything about “having everyone bareback,” or “making” anybody do anything. I believe everyone should be tested, know their own and their partners’ HIV status, understand the risks and protect themselves accordingly. Sermons by zealots do nothing to prevent HIV. Even if those zealots are from our own community.
It all goes back to that 25%/90% thing. Honest.
