Very interesting facts, I guess we all knew already. Porn is money making and men, who do it, get more money in gay porn. It’s fantasy made in viewer’s mind, but after all said it’s technical, mechanical and work.

It does seem as though both Sean Cody and Men.com have figured out how to keep my loyalty. Cody presents sex with a far more positive and good-natured attitude, but Men has corralled a stable of stars I couldn’t imagine abandoning. Cant say I feel sorry for them that they’re working so hard. Everytime I see these behind the scenes profiles, it almost makes me feel sorry for all of these guys. It just seems so unsexy and boring. And after a while, everything looks the same. It does seem strange to have a straight director working on gay porn. Im sure he’s great at lighting, camera angles etc but you’d think you’d want a gay man who knows what will be sexy to another gay man. Its hard for me to understand how these people get paid so much or studios keep making so much money. I have no idea how many members sites like SeanCody, RandyBlue, CockyBoys etc have or which are the top sites. I just can’t imagine paying for this stuff month after month when theres so much free stuff online. Its hard to imagine a guy making a thousand dollars for a days work and how the studio recoups all that with all the piracy. Even if people are paying $30-40 a month. I agree with the guy who says its ironic you have gay porn and no one gay is working on it…You’ve got women editors, straight crew, straight models, straight directors, straight writers, straight accountants…Typical straight people taking advantage and profiting off the gay community – no different than bar owners.
Yes some do this for marketing for escorting and stripping appearances which are even more lucrative. If they can become more of a name, they’ll cash in. Personally I can’t imagine doing that.
