The way Treasure Island Media is getting mainstream really scares me , I think their “news” should not be reported at all but of course it’s not my blog and QMN is entitled to do what he wants , they are probably the worst example porn can possibly set .
I imagine their sets are STD nests with guys injecting themselves with steroids to fight the “gaunt” AIDS look ….sadly all their models still look sick or like drug addicts and even if you are poz you should not fuck without condoms , other STDs can come into play , along with other strains of the virus you are fighting – at the end of the day the work gets even more complicated for doctors.

AS i know someone who has it , I can tell you the risks taken are not worth it , tritherapy drugs take a HUGE strain on your body , the side effects are often horrible and some people do not respond well to them at all.

WOuld just like to add : Do NOT believe someone who says he is clean just because he says so , most guys will do anything to get laid , a test is valid if you haven’t taken risks for 6 weeks before , otherwise you can’t trust it and obviously you can’t have people under your supervision .VERY FEW guys get tested on a regular basis unfortunately , they just pretend , the HIV+ ones won’t tell you most of the time before you have sex with them, so wrap it…
I’ve made a little experience on a mainstream dating site and about 50% of people agree to have bareback sex if you TELL them you are clean and have been tested recently , they don’t require to see the test or anything.

I have debated writing about this, but it’s on the web in public forums. I was friends with a porn star who some might know. Not a major name, he did mainly low-budget stuff (uniform, wrestling) but quite a few movies. He had been poz for a pretty good while when he did movies, including at least one BB one. Handsome, huge dick; was a proponent of bareback sex in his pvt life as well. He died last year of an incurable MRSA infection, which started in his leg and spread. I can tell you how eventually he, and his family, felt about the “to each his own” attitude.

Many of these porn stars are most likely normal everyday kinda guys who have all sorts of reasons for doing porn, and I have my type and my favourite stars like everyone else; but it goes too far when they are manipulated by the negative trappings associated so often with the less glamorous side of the industry!
