I posting this again from an earlier posting because I feel it’s worth repeating and is very relevant to this post:

You want to make a statement, then stop posting on blogs about “gay for pay” and do something active. Don’t pay for porn that employs these closet queens. Don’t glorify “gay for pay.” Acknowledge what “gay for pay” is: an insult to out gays and just a video representation of self loathing fagots.
Most of those guys are juiced up on steroids – so clearly they have some masculinity issues to deal with. It would be a tall order for them to deal with being an out and proud gay.
Let me also state why it bothers me so much about porn and the gay community.
You have actors who are kind of “champions” in the gay community for doing porn. For appearances, they are not ashamed of their sexuality. Yet you have actors that state they only date women and have sex on camera with men. Doesn’t this seem like a contradiction in terms of not being ashamed?
Leo Giamani, Pat Bateman, Dean Coxx… all of these men are open about this. Yet there idealized in the gay community. I cannot stand this. It’s odd to see somebody is versatile and kisses men. But to go beyond sex, towards some kind of affectionate close relationship is “gay.” Which in this culture is viewed as weak.
It shows how immature they are, and very out of touch with themselves.

People judge me based on my appearance, how I talk, and what I do… it’s human nature. So I’m not doing anything anyone else isn’t. As if making judgments are wrong – maybe prejudice? But I’m not pre-judging a group, I’m judging a set in MY GROUP, which I’ve come to know about through it’s culture.
By the way, barebacking and non-barebacking in porn isn’t really as much of an issue as the quantity of partners, according to Sean in the post above mine.

Casey, glad you agree. You should consider this just another example of what I mean, when we have actors proclaming they are “sexually Liberated” yet aren’t exactly living up to that mantle.
You even have straight porn actors with a past in gay or bi movies who aren’t forthcoming with that history and when asked either deny it’s existence or try to “bury it under the rug”. Peter North, Julián Ríos are some examples. I only know of one actor, Max Deisel, is forthcoming with this history. However, he cannot perform in straight films unless he doesn’t in gay. So the straight porn world is equally problematic.
People are ignorant when it comes to sexual intellegance, and even worse with stereotypes – like your chances of getting HIV are different with the sex of your partner.
