Director Christian Owen just tweeted the picture above. Apparently hot and muscular newcomer Johnny V (Check out my exclusive interview video with Johnny V here) is shooting new sex scenes with HOT HOUSE right now. Johnny recently filmed his first porn scene with Falcon last month. I can’t wait to see all his videos.
Another big news about HOT HOUSE, Falcon/Raging Stallion Studios announced on July 11th that it will acquire the assets of Hot House Entertainment, creating the world’s largest gay erotic company. Hot House president Steven Scarborough also announced that he will retire from the industry after a 27-year career. Falcon/Raging Stallion president Chris Ward will head the combined operations.
I know I’m SO behind on this news, but in my defence I was in Trebesice, about one-hour drive from Prague, on set of NakedSword / Bel Ami co-production “Dirty Rascals.” Check out my daily coverage Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5. That’s a lame excuse… I know 😛 Hey, I run this blog alone, OK?
And I would like to thank HOT HOUSE and director Christian Owen for this wonderful write-up on Queer Me Now.
Falcon/Raging Stallion to Acquire Hot House Entertainment
Falcon/Raging Stallion Studios announced today that it will acquire the assets of Hot House Entertainment, creating the world’s largest gay erotic company. Hot House president Steven Scarborough also announced that he will retire from the industry after a 27-year career. Falcon/Raging Stallion president Chris Ward will head the combined operations.
“We are excited to bring Hot House into the AEBN family of companies,” commented Ward. “I started my own career at Hot House so it is very significant for me to bring Steven’s company to Falcon/Raging Stallion. We plan to preserve and protect Steven’s outstanding legacy and continue filming in the Hot House tradition and style. Just as I worked hard to protect the Falcon legacy after the Falcon/Raging Stallion merger, I intend to make sure that Hot House fans keep getting exactly what they want.”
Scarborough offered his own thoughts on the future of Hot House as part of the Falcon/Raging Stallion mega-studio. “Because I came from Falcon and because Chris came from Hot House, I feel this deal is a perfect fit. I reached out to Chris because of our long history together. I am absolutely confident that Chris and his team will continue the Hot House tradition, which is something very, very important to me. I look forward to seeing Hot House remain an industry leader for years to come.”
Opportunities to expand the Hot House brand include making the 300-title catalog available on Cable TV through AEBN’s Align Broadcast group which has quickly become a major player in the US domestic cable marketplace.
Hot House, founded in 1993 after Scarborough left Falcon, quickly became one of the industry’s top studios, known for filming high-quality mainstream erotic films and also launching the Club Inferno video line. Ward began his own adult career directing for the Club Inferno line before he went on to found Raging Stallion Studios with JD Slater in 1999. Raging Stallion and Falcon combined forces in 2012, all under the AEBN corporate umbrella. Adding Hot House into the mix now brings the three studios full circle.
Christian Owen, the current film director at Hot House, will continue with the new venture, assuring continuity of content. Director of Hot House Operations Rob LeVan will also remain in place as Director of Operations for the studio group.
In announcing his retirement, Scarborough ends a career that began at Falcon in 1987 where he served for many years as the studio’s head director and Chuck Holmes’ right-hand man. Scarborough was instrumental in developing niche films at Falcon, which he continued when he started Hot House. Hot House remains the premier “ass-play” studio with its website ClubInfernoDungeon.com. Hot House mainstream movies are presented on the studio’s flagship website, HotHouse.com. All Hot House, Falcon, and Raging Stallion membership sites are part of the Buddy Profits affiliate program. Films from all three studios are available for VOD at AEBN.com.

Never mind you are late. You have a very good excuse. Thanks for the fantastic updates from Prague. You are one lucky blogger. Well deserved success for you. Next time if you need someone to carry your suitcase….I am available.

Although HH has had a few misfires in the past 20 years (I NEVER liked the “Pack Attack” series) they have pretty much consistently blow away both Falcon and RS. Falcon/Jocks (and the now defunct Mustang) are incredibly lame and unexciting shells of their former selves. I have been so unimpressed with the Falcon/RS merger I am hoping they don’t destroy Hot House in the process.

WoW Eric …. you must be hard to please.

The AEBN monopoly get bigger and bigger! First Raging Stallion, then Falcon, and now Hot House. What’s the next studio to fall? My prediction is Titan. Titan hasn’t produced a hot movie in years. Meanwhile, Christian Owen has run the Hot House brand into the ground! HH hasn’t had a great movie since Steven stopped directing. So what’s AEBN’s first pronouncement: keep Christian Owen! WTF?
Christian Owen says
Thanks Wayne for the great comment. I am really proud of what I have accomplished at Hot House.

Two Words Wayne: “Control Room”. Great work Christian and hope that the opportunity lets us fans see crossover from all 3 companies 😉

Johnny V is not good looking actually
Almatolmen says
Actually, he is. He’s just not your “type”, eh?

I have to agree with Wayne – HH has been pretty limp lately. This merger will probably see the demise of all three studios. Porn is so boring anymore, and most of these ‘stars’ today look desperately in need of a shower.
Falcon has become but a sparrow, Raging Stallion became My Little Pony, and now Hot House will relegate itself to be a warming plate. Yawn.

can’t wait to see any videos Johnny V is in, hopefully done of them are solo’s.

Agree with Clark and Wayne. Falcon lost whatever edginess it had years ago. For a long time, you could tell by the box cover exactly what was going to happen, the performers were so strictly delineated (Mike Branson will top; Tristan Paris will bottom, e.g.). Now it’s just generic and bland, and there’s much better sex on the digital sites.
As for Hot House, they seem to have forgotten where guys’ assholes are long ago. If there’s rimming, it’s shot very far away, as if the director is telling the cameraman, oh, this is a personal activity; we don’t want to get too close and intrude. The fisting fetish line is even more mystifying: Dudes, if you’re going to show assplay, let’s see the fist/toy/whatever going in!

I think Christian Owen is a great director and gets pretty consistent hot scenes out of his actors. My one criticism is they tend to use a lot of the same actors over and over and over. How many times can you see Armond Rizzo’s blown out hole get loosely fucked? It gets old. But I think Christian is one of the better directors out there. As for Johnny V, he looks as orange as those ugly shoes he’s wearing. I want to like him but he just looks plastic and fake. I guess I’ll see how his performances are.
dvlaries says
There’s symmetry to that. Before he left to found Hot House, Scarborough helmed a clutch of the final pre-condom titles Falcon issued, and to this day they are some of the hottest male porn ever made: Deep In Hot Water, Spokes II, In Your Wildest Dreams, Touch Me, Manrammer, Made For You, The Pledgemasters, Behind Closed Doors. That’s an advantage gay porn always has: made 25 years ago the bunch of them, but when the men get naked, there’s nothing ‘old’ about them.
Christian Owen says
Jesse and Q thanks so much guys!!!!!
sxg says
lol please Christian Owen is not that great of a director. Sure there are a few scenes out there that have been golden, but he’s the reason the company had to be sold off. It wasn’t doing well ever since he’s taken a lead in directing.
And I don’t believe this will hurt all 3 of the studios, I think they’ll do quite well. This probably does save Hot House a bit.
The only problem is the more that these companies merge, the more they all lose their identity. Sure Raging and Falcon each have their moments where they remind you of the golden age of their studios, but it’s not happening as often. And Hot House/Club Inferno TBH towards the end was no different than what Raging Stallion and Fetish Force have been doing lately, so I think Hot House will completely lose its identity because of this merge.
