Is going bareback at this moment in time a sign that a gay porn studio is walking on its last legs? In my opinion the gay porn cake has been divided and we all can see who the winners are. Some studios might hold on because they are part of a larger group or just make enough money to film the next scene. Or, like Michael Lucas, have a rich husband who provides the funds to keep the business going. But if you don’t come up with something very special I don’t see how a gay porn studio can in earnest compete with the really profitable studios like Corbin Fisher, Sean Cody and BelAmi. I love how people use “extremes” to try to prove a point. Still doesn’t change the fact that the models in these movies are risking their health by going bareback, plus young people, say around late teens to early 20’s, are going to be influenced more easily than someone older because they didn’t live in the era when HIV/AIDS killed people.
