Does anyone standardize the meaning of terms used in the gay community? A link in another post to TimTales has a description of Diesel as a “muscle twink”. Twink is not a word that comes to mind as I look at pix of him. Another term that seems to lack much consistency is “bear”. Again, there are guys who I’ve seen described as such that don’t fit my sense of the word. Sometimes even simple descriptive adjectives seem to vary so widely that they seem almost meaningless. I’ve seen guys labelled “muscular” that don’t match the word at all. It can be frustrating when you do a word-based search for images and some of what results has you going “Whaaa’?”
