Ben Masters recently posted a racist video on his Instagram. It was captured and then shared on Twitter. You can watch the entire video below in a tweet shared by Brock Banks. Ben deleted the original video and issued an apology.
Ben Masters was an exclusive model of CockyBoys. Jake Jaxson, the owner of CockyBoys, just announced on Twitter that they have terminated their contract with Ben Masters.
R u fucking kidding me @BenMastersxxx.. That’s all i have to say.. twitter do your thing.. pic.twitter.com/Da89thhFT7

Here are Ben’s apology tweets after he deleted the video above.
Today I posted something that was selfish, unproductive, and stupid. While I immediately deleted once I posted, it does not change the fact that I did, and I am very sorry for my insensitivity and the pain and upset it caused.
— Ben Masters (@BenMastersxxx) June 1, 2020
Today, I fully understand what white privilege means. Today I understand that my thinking is part of the problem, and today I accept that my thinking needs to and will change.

This is the response from CockyBoys.
Today we have terminated our contract with Ben Masters.
Ben’s video, posted earlier today, is uneducated and unacceptable on every level. It goes against everything both RJ and I believe in and stand for, and we will not tolerate this sentiment from any of our performers.

?I Get what he was saying down as a black gay man I seen the homophobia within the black community but just because he had one bad experience that doesn’t mean that he should blame that bad experience with that homophobic straight black man on the whole entire black community because there are some straight black people who support The gay community and who is inspired by the gay community he shouldn’t do the “one bad apple spoil the much” move?
John says
He said there were multiple instances.
He shouldn’t have said what he said, but it doesn’t change the fact that a huge portion of the black community is openly homophobic. It’s even in “their” music…
billy on the other hand, 100% racist/bigoted/etc.
I never found him attractive. He’s so gross.
Paul says
The problem I have with comments like this is that they assume that open homophobia is a problem unique to the black community. I hate to break it to you, but there is also a large part of the “white community” that is just as homophobic. Those religious zealots in the Republican party who are actively working to take away LGBT rights and protections are almost all white. Almost every article I’ve read lately about the next pastor to blame everything on “the gays” has been about a white man. I don’t see white gays going after their race, but they have no problem doing so with others.
It’s also probably worth stating that it’s likely people who feel this way have little to no interaction with black people in their daily lives, so any negative experiences they do have are amplified in their minds.
I’m not even going to both with the “their music” comment because it is beyond ridiculous and myopic.
Finally, can we please not be so shallow. The fact that you find Billy unattractive should really have no part in a conversation about him being racist because the flip side to that is if you did find him hot, he’s somehow not as horrible. We need to do better people.
Isiah says
There’s black people who kill gay people I am I’m gonna turn my back on the black community for that no
Milo says
And there’s white people who kill gay people. Have you never heard of Matthew Shephard?.. Homophobia isn’t unique to the black community. Just stop
Rizz says
Perfectly said Paul!
MeTooTo says
Arrange everything in order in your thoughts. You do not consider him attractive (physically) and therefore you consider him a fanatic and a racist. This is because you think with your cock, not your head. He only said what he had the right to say.
Andre says
It really isn’t a black/white thing, and to call out the black community on something that is inherent in the backbone of Christianity, and all people that follow, is as much a generalization. Fact is, many people are homophobic. Another thing- if you are speaking of rap music, yes the messenger is generally black, sometimes not, but the studio knows what sells, and wants what sells, and demands of it’s employees what sells. Just like violence in the black community glorified in black music. it’s what sells, and the studio makes sure its produced. Who buys the shit? White folks. that’s who.
Steven says
not just Christians but some radical Muslims and far Right Jews all promote violence…I will say its a religion issue
Robert Alvarez says
First, I AM an American born man of Cuban descent, and a gay man, too. As well as a Happily-Recovered-Catholic.
Although part of me can empathize with what Ben Masters said, I AM also clear that so much of what he said was categorizing certain groups of people into one category. Not every Black or brown person is homophobic. Not every white person is a white supremacist or domestic terrorist.
However, when he apologized after all the shite went down, well, that is when I truly lost respect for him. I can express anger, and I can do it in a way that does not shame, degrade, hurt or harm anyone, but then again, I AM fifty years of age, and Ben Masters is not.
Also, I think that a part of him fails to realize that there are people who are going to always want to see him dead, simply because he is a gay man. And, truly, no racist, bigot, homophobe, etc., ever needs an excuse to express their disdain for anyone who is not identical to them.
Fred says
gee what is wrong with what he said. i mean het gotr some serious abuse from black guys, should he shut up ior what? Gee the us is really over-acting….
andre says
Fred, in Buffalo NY this white kid killed several innocent black people in a market for being black. I’m sorry, if any white person is drowning in a lake, five feet from my boat, fuck him, I’m not going to help. why should I? A white dude called me a fag the other day, plus they kill people in supermarkets. Dude will have fend for himself. ……..Do you find any problems with me saying this? or even feeling this way?
andrew says
There was nothing racist about his post. No apology was needed.
Anonymous says
Well then you must be delusional like him.
Andre says
Just be straight up. You know there was something racist about his statement, but you don’t care and you feel like he was justified and don’t think anyone in deserves an apology, especially black folks. I’d have more respect if you just wore it on your sleeve. You’re no different views are no different than his, so, full circle, it is to be expected.
Milo says
Yes, there was definitely something wrong with his post. First, it was completely unnecessary, and was better left unsaid. On top of that, it was selfish, tone-deaf, and once again unnecessary. First, he never specified that a black person was involved in any of those instances besides the first, some of you all just assumed that.
His purpose in telling those stories was to imply that he – as a gay man, receives hate too. While that is very unfortunate, and never okay, those instances of hate that he receives doesn’t compare to the constant racism and microaggressions that black people have faced for CENTURIES. From being enslaved, to enduring Jim Crow laws, enduring segregation, enduring violence (from bombings to lynchings) being victims of a terrorist group called the KKK which still lives, to mass incarceration. It doesn’t compare. That’s what makes it tone deaf. That what makes it unnecessary.
He further went on to say something along the lines of once black people come to a LGBT march, he will march for them, and that will even that playing field. UMMM hello?!?! Do black LGBT people not exist? Do they not attend Pride events with the family and friends who support them? (hint: they do). If you think it’s hard being gay in a world where homophobia exists, imagine how hard it is being black AND gay in a world where homophobia AND racism exists. He can have several seats, and so can anyone who agrees with him.
Also, if we want to start a conversation on homophobia in the black community, let’s make space at the table to discuss racism and fetishism in the gay community. Thanks.
luke says
Have you personally in your own life ever met a straight black man who wasn’t completely and utterly homophobic. And don’t lie, I know how easily lying comes for liberals like you when it’s “for the good of the cause”
Simon says
Literally all straight black men I’ve ever met have NOT been homophobic. Feel free to take your racist ass out of here.
season says
Nice try, but… as a gay black man, I know SEVERAL straight black men, who AREN’T homophobic, just like I know several white gays WHO ARE racists. However, I’m not going to generalize all white people (whether gay or straight) as racists. Yet, you sit here and try to paint the entire black community as homophobic smh. Trash
andre says
I bet you can count the number of black men you know, straight or gay, on one hand. How does that equate to “every”? If I’m to be completely honest, your comment is really just flipping stupid.
John says
I totally agree with Milo & Paul. It’s a two way street, racism in the gay community is rampant. I’ve never been called the n bomb to my face besides at gay clubs. If you’re white and gay and you can’t show up for this black moment then don’t engage with our culture either: no drag race, no tongue pops, no “yasss”, “oh gurl”, “yes mama”, no snaps, no vogueing and so much more. There would be no gay culture without black culture. I’m so tired of white gays acting as if homophobia is specific to the black community or more rampant in the black community; I’ve never seen any data to suggest this and from my lived experience it’s pretty equal in my book. And worse of all, blanketing the entire black community as homophobic erases the black queer community, what about us?
zealot says
Reading the responses and wondering if we consider Cocky Boys to be a bastian of diversity? Not taking issue with cancelling their contract with Ben, but I’m wondering (as a consumer of their product from time to time) does CB present a realistic depiction of diversity in their content? Does that make them part of the problem? Is content at CB worthy of further discussion? I’m not saying “yea” or “nay”– just thinking out loud based on their response to Ben’s video. On the surface it seems a bit like clutching their pearls to divert the issue of their own actions with respect to non-white performers’ appearance in their content.
froofroofaggit says
In my entire life on this planet I have NEVER met a heterosexual black man who wasn’t virulently homophobic. That’s my life experience and that’s what I base my world view on. Leftist scum can force other people to lie about what they’re really thinking and feeling but personally I won’t lie and pretend about something just to make self-hating whites feel better about themselves.
Simon says
Speaking of bigotry, “leftist scum” doesn’t exactly make you sound like the good guy in this story…
Milo says
You’re using language like “leftist scum” and we’re supposed to take you seriously… LMAO. You sound like a bot…. and as many times as I’ve heard white gays say “no rice, no spice, no chocolate,” you should just sit there and eat your food, and be quiet. And it’s so ironic that so many white gays can discriminate on the very minorities that proceeded them, and fought for their rights at Stonewall. How can you discriminate against the same people that fought to end discrimination against you?…. ain’t that bout a bitch.
airbrushed says
What an assortment of ignorant and racist comments on this post. But I’m not surprised. People are crazy, the man he spoke to was crazy, and happened to be Black. Everyday I experience racism from white folk, but I don’t go around assuming you’re all nut job racists. Jesus. When will people realise blaming the majority on the actions of a few is messed up? It makes me sick to the bone that anyone would defend this persons comments. Last week a white guy called me an ‘ape n-word’ on Tinder. TINDER. For rejecting his advances after we matched (he was too vulgar from the get go) – this is not the first time this has happened. Should I avoid all white people from now on because of my experiences? Do better people. I don’t know who this guy is, but he’s CANCELLED.
Loy says
Actually, he didn’t say much. He just don’t wanna work as shield when he himself has been part of another discreminated group.
Andre says
a shield for what? Protesting violence against any community doesn’t mean you have to be a shield. It means you don’t stand for discrimination at all. His statements say that he specifically agrees with discriminating against an entire community because of his experience with two or three people. On the contrary, he said a whole fucking lot.
Matt says
We should not blame an entire group of people for the actions of a few individuals. What he said was ignorant and slightly racist, but I don’t think he should be fired for that. We all need to learn and grow, and punishment doesn’t help anybody, it just makes people more salty towards progressive causes.
Adam Kruise says
Does John Magnum ever do interracial, is he racist?
Juno says
How on freakin earth was this racist? So there is only free speech for politically über correct people? And if you dare to have a mind of your own you will lose your job. And that’s not intolerance??? What happened to freedom? This is utter mass hysteria.
andre says
you need to listen again. If you don’t get it after that, then your privilege is at titanium level.
andre says
I’m fucking exhausted.
