Think about this: HIV meds do not work for everyone. Some have severe reactions, some are immune to certain drugs, and for thousands, if not millions of ppl around the world either do not have access or cannot afford to buy them.
Even if you do well on the meds, there are long term health issues, such as heart disease caused by either the meds or the infection. There are others just as devastating. So if the meds work there is still a HUGE possibility that you will die prematurely from that.
I’m not an anti bb zealot, but I do think those that think it is no big deal, and that not using condoms is what “real men” do according to another poster here are sadly wrong.

I’m very upset by SC. I always respected him for caring about health of his models and promoting safe sex to viewers by always using condoms. When I was a teen my only exposure to gay world was porn. SC was the only porn site that taught me about risks of STDs and how unglamorous sex is in real life because of high rates of infections.
My generation of gay males are being mislead about HIV risks because we don’t see people dying like it’s the black plague of the 90s anymore. As a minority group, the LGBT community still has the highest rates of STDs that are not going down. Testing alone is not a solution and everyone knows it.
