What’s the story behind your porn name, Bruce Beckham?

Please introduce yourself. How old are you? Where’s your from? Single or taken?
I grew up in Ohio, and I still love visiting there so much. It’s such a quiet, relaxing, nice balance to life in chaotic LA.
I’m single, mostly cause I’m pretty picky. I’m looking for rare magic, that chemistry you can’t force. I’ve only found it twice… but I know what it is when I feel it.

How did you get into the porn industry almost 12 years ago? Why did you choose to work with Lucas Entertainment?
I’ve always thought porn was so sexy and the guys were the pinnacle of hotness. I had a friend who worked within the industry, and he made a few introductions for me. Ultimately, I reached out to Michael Lucas because I’d known him in New York City when I lived there.

What’s your experience working for Lucas Entertainment?
They treated me well. Michael was always very focused on his company and his models. I definitely wouldn’t have the platform for a comeback today had it not been for the exposure he gave me.

Any funny or memorable behind the scenes stuffs you want to share?
Mostly I just remember all of the guys that I worked with being really nice and really fun loving. Wilfried Knight especially was a sweetheart. We spent a lot of time together in Barcelona when we were shooting there, just walking the streets and sightseeing. That guy was a good man.

Why did you leave the industry in 2008?
At the time, I was working a full time job bartending at a pretty popular gay bar, and I sometimes lost money taking off weeks to travel overseas to shoot. My focus at the time wasn’t on capitalizing on the adult film industry like it is now.

What did you do during 8 years hiatus?
I got to know myself better, grew up a lot, and embraced my sexual appetite more.

Many of my readers agree that you look way hotter and sexier now than a decade ago, what’s your secret? 😉
HARD WORK AND CONSISTENCY. There’s no substitute for it. I’d never tracked my workouts and diet with specificity like I am now.

What’s your workout routine?
It varies. I have programs that I alternate based on if my goal at the time is to either lean down for a shoot or add more muscle when I’m feeling smaller. Diet is crucial though, both what and when you eat. Among other things, I set up meal plans for a pretty low rate for clients who are wanting to be in better shape. How’s the reactions and responses you get from your fans on Twitter and Instagram so far?
I’ve gotten a surprising amount of “welcome back” messages on Twitter. I wasn’t expecting the really warm welcome and level of interest I’ve already received. The fans have been amazing and really supportive of me.

Tell us 3 things fans will be surprised to know about you.
+ I’m a huge Madonna fan, I came out in high school years ago partially because Madonna was publicly embracing gay culture.

+ I fall asleep at night listening to motivational speakers or TedTalks on YouTube EVERY NIGHT.

+ I had a pit bull for 9 years… I’m in love with that breed. Totally maligned breed. They’re some of the sweetest and most eager to please dogs.

My first shoot back will be with Tony DiMarco for Falcon… It’ll be a nice re-introduction to the business as he shot everything I did for Lucas Entertainment, and he’s such a great guy. Beyond that, I’m interested in working for anyone that feels like the right fit for me and my image.
