Just like Marcus Mojo, hottie Gavin Waters also has 2 new videos released this week. Gavin gets fucked by Austin Wilde at his new website AUSTINWILDE.COM. And he bottoms for handsome SYTYCF winner Topher DiMaggio in Dominic Ford‘s 3D porn Secret Fantasies.
Gavin Waters recently shot 4 new scenes for COCKSURE MEN and Jasun Mark just posted this revealing interview on his blog Gay Daily Hot – “Gavin opens up a lot about his feelings about being one of the openly-bisexual porn stars, his definition of gay for pay, his plans for the future and the fact that he’s no longer going to be a father.”

I feel bad for Gavin that he is no longer going to be a dad cause in the video when he broke the news, he seemed genuinely excited for the opportunity.
EdWoody says
How come he suddenly looks like he’s in his mid-40s in these photos?
Res says
How come he’s suddenly not having a kid? And at first he was straight, now bisexual? I am so over gay porn dudes like him trying to use us. Let’s face it, he need people like we to be interested in him to keep his career going. I knew he would be back, baby or not.
Res says
I don’t think we’re “ripping other people down.” We just don’t want to deal with all the fakes, claiming gay-for-pay, and ultimately making us look bad and USING US. I believe gay-for-pay is detrimental to the gay porn industry and it basically says gay men aren’t good enough or wanted by their own community. And the more we allow it, the worst it (gay porn) becomes. I mean, quality over quantity.
And IMHO, if you are NOT gay then I don’t understand why you are doing GAY PORN. To me, that makes you look insane. And I don’t understand how gay-for-pay actors can get mad when somebody think they are gay….hello, you’re having sex with men and you’re straight where is the logic in that? Are you demented? Like they say the best and the brightest don’t do those kinds of things. But they all know it’s wrong and don’t care as long as the pay check continues to come.
Rob says
It would kind of weird to know-and be able to see it-that your dad got fucked in the ass for a living. Seriously. Where does one put that on a resume? It’s defintely a skill set that I’ve mastered myself but as a career choice it’s got to be a real pain in the ass sometimes. 🙂
gaysammy says
this interview is way too long
Billy Blue says
Most “Gost4pay” are bisexuals, at least Gavin admit it. Good for him !!
Chris says
I don’t know why you guys (more directed at Res) are putting so much emphasis on gay porn performers like gay porn is supposed to be the shining beacon of sexual equality and standards of the gay community. If you think that’s the case, then that’s pretty sad.
Gay porn is about fantasy – and there’s no “USING US” when you are paying to watch these guys have sex. It’s a service. And with the amount that porn is pirated, you’re probably bitching about free shit. If Gavin thinks he’s straight and he’s able to take it up the ass so he can get paid, then so be it. There’s a large market of gay men who like seeing straight men having gay sex. There’s a large market of gay men who like bareback porn. And etcetera. Gay Porn = Business. Business = Making money. If there’s a demand for it, then of course gay for pay will always exist. It’s a niche.
It’s just jerk off material and if you look at it any other way, then you are the one who’s crazy. If you don’t like it, then don’t watch it.
Oh, and let’s try to focus on having good examples of gays in mainstream media and entertainment first, and then we can start being bitchy queens about gay porn stars later.

They’re all homo/bi, with some marketing make up.
Oat says
i don’t share the same sentiment many ppl voiced about gay-for-pay. not trying to instigate or invalidate ppl who feel that “fake gay-for-pay is using the gay community”, just saying i don’t share the feeling nor agree with the rationale.
it’s one thing if someone pretends to be a member of a social group and profits from the false identity (e.g. someone who pretends to be gay and wrote a false memoir that makes millions $).
But it’s quite another when one identifies the niche coveted by a certain group (for the sake of the argument, straight acting guys coveted by gay community), and such niche is actually an identity or brand (e.g. straights) outside of that certain group.
That’s not using or exploiting the gay community (maybe economically, but certain not on identity politics level), that’s just a common business practice that appeals to the desire of a consumer group.
I don’t get why someone “pretending” to be straight so offends lots of gays. And most of all, this reflects many of the gay community not accepting the fact that sexuality is fluid (both sexual desires and sexual identity), no one is required to “stick by” his sexual orientation.
Seriously guys, if the struggles of gays in past century have taught us anything, challenging concrete categories and binaries is certainly one of them.
brian says
@Res Yesterday he was straight, today he is bisexual… tomorrow he will be gay! Sit and wait for this! hehehe
Accepting yourself is a long process.
@Rob it’s ok if our daddy is gay, but yeah it’s complicated see him getting fucked in a movie! So I say: think about what you want to do today and about your future … not only for yourself, but for the people who loves you too!
sae says
“gays in mainstream media and entertainment first, and then we can start being bitchy queens about gay porn stars later.”
Oh right, cause’ a “shining beacon of sexual equality and standards of the gay community” needs to be an actor in hollywood. Like your suggestion of admiration is any better.
Oh Christ.
sae says
and for that reference to porn stars being brave or the suggestion that they should be respected for that?!
Yes, they are really putting it out there: with a alias to keep anonymity. No one is free from scrutiny. It apparently, if they can’t deal with criticism from people then they are in the wrong profession. And no, they aren’t putting themselves out there, when they have to keep a separate name.
Chris says
@Sae
you conveniently left out the part where I wrote good examples in your quote. Try a little thing called reading the entire comment before you open your mouth. You will sound a lot less incompetent.
A LOT of people do look to Hollywood for admiration, believe it or not and they hold a lot of influence over people . There are many movie stars and entertainers that do deserve respect for their work and work they do in terms of charities and giving back. Gay actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Ian McKellan are good examples of actors that are respected and participate in promoting LGBT equality.
So yes my suggestion of admiration is better.
Oh Christ.
RandyN says
@Chris and Oat: Thank you for this input. I was about to make the exact same arguments myself.
Still, I feel like adding (just ’cause I am bored):
1. people should not shit on other people’s fantasies. You don’t like it, don’t buy! How would you feel if you were into BDSM and some people would constantly moan and bitch that they don’t like BDSM and that it should just go away?
2. I absolutely hate studios that force gay/bi performers to call themselves straight for marketing purposes. But everybody is entitled to make a living. If you are a gay men claiming to be straight so u can work for Sean Cody or Corbin Fisher, then you absolutely have that right and we should respect it. I will NOT buy the final product however, but neither will I guilt other people who have a “turning the straight boy” fantasy.
3. It makes me feel good to see more and more gay/bi models coming into it and being accepted for who they are. It means we are on the right track. SC and CF have been literary bleeding members to studios like RandyBlue. So in time they will probably change their marketing strategy, if they are not already too late.
4. There is a chance there are not enough gay/bi models out there to cover the needs of the entire gay porn industry. Actually to my knowledge, there is a single studio that uses exclusively gay models, and that is Treasure Island Media. Let’s not discuss their agenda though!
5. Gay4Pay and Straight4Pay performers are just that, performers! Good performers I might add, if they manage to constantly deliver cum inducing sex sessions. They should be respected for that, no matter what they do in their free time.
6. The financial situation is really bad. It’s so bad right now, that no studio in their right mind would ignore a money producing niche like they were doing in 2006-2007. One of the niches I am referring to are women that like to watch gay/bi porn or straight porn produced for a gay audience (sg4ge, nextdoorhookups, nextdoormale, etc.). Women actually like the idea of g4p, because it contributes to their fantasies. Another niche is gay men who for various reasons like straight guys.
6. You don’t get to decide somebody else’s sexual orientation! If a guy feels comfortable calling himself straight even though he does gay porn, you absolutely don’t have the right to say otherwise. It’s like people saying “you are just confused” when you came out! If a guy calls himself bi, you don’t get to say “meh, you are not bi, you are just not 100% out of the closet”.
To me, this “they are using us” rant just screams: “I am insecure, stop trying to confuse me!”. People who are secure about their identity don’t feel hurt by what others are doing/saying.
There, boredom alleviated!
mick says
To RandyN. That was a really good, well thought, articulate response. People, pay attention and read it.
prohomo says
Dear OAT, so how do we unstick ourselves from our fluid sexual orientation, do tell?
cutlass says
1. Your fantasies are just that. Keep them to yourslef, and I have a right to voice my opinion about a fantasy that is foisted upon an entire community.
2. If you are a person willing to sell out in that way to make a few bucks, you’re pathetic.
3. They will not change their strategy unless more self-loathing pathetic gays stop buying into the bullshit.
4. There are enough models. Pathetic gays support self-hatred to the point where studios will pay these faux straight guys more money than they pay admittedly gay porn guys. Furthermore, these faux straight guys get to demand that they will or won’t do this or that. If the gay guy said the same thing, he’d be kicked out on his ass.
5. They don’t need to be respected or disrepected for having sex. It’s, simply, what they do.
6. A niche would be a segment of something. Fantasizing about straight men in gay porn is no longer a niche. It’s the ONLY thing there is these days. You can’t get away from it because this shit is continuously thrown in your face.
7. I don’t want to decide your orientation. As a matter of fact, I don’t give a fuck about your orientation; however, when you claim to be straight in the face of visual eveidence, I have the right to disagree with you and call BULLSHIT. If you had kept it to yourself, and not thrown it in my face, I wouldn’t care. Yet, remarkably, these guys make it apoint to either talk about being straight in interviews, or hating gay sex, or bringing “girlfriends” to gay events (to reinforce that they’re not the same as the other fags there), or talking about how much pussy they love, etc. Don’t expect me not to rain on your fantasy. I really don’t give a flying fuck about your fantasy.
leev says
“people should not shit on other people’s fantasies”..well my fantasy is to shit all over the straight fantasy shit poisoning GAY porn…so don’t shit all over my fantasy either and let me have fun!

“5. Gay4Pay and Straight4Pay performers are just that, performers! Good performers I might add, if they manage to constantly deliver cum inducing sex sessions. They should be respected for that, no matter what they do in their free time.”
The problem is that many of them don’t and that is what fans have been complaining about. A lot of them are human dildos. Some of those “cum inducing sex sessions” are in fact dishsoap inducing sex sessions if you know what I mean. Some of those performers are rightfully called out for their awful performances, the studios are rightfully called out for continuing to hire them because they claim they are straight, not because they are good performer. The only big asset that Falcon has now is their catalog of OLD TITLES. Those are what are selling, their newer titles aren’t selling worth a shit now? Why? Because the men in them were enjoying themselves, had a sexual connection, and threw caution to the wind. What you see now is mechanical and boring porn and consumers are starting to run away in droves.
“6. The financial situation is really bad. It’s so bad right now, that no studio in their right mind would ignore a money producing niche like they were doing in 2006-2007. First of all, people aren’t buying all that much porn anymore. The market has been gutted by torrents and file sharing. Secondly, the number of women that are watching gay porn is tiny and not a viable market. SG4GE and Next Door Hookups straight porn is boring and frankly so many straight studios do POV porn now that seeing a performers asshole or balls up close in straight porn made for straight men is common. Also, women for the most part don’t want to see another man’s asshole nor do they want to eat it. Playgirl despite all of their efforts could never get women to buy their magazine. The VERY LIBERAL estimate was that 20% of their readership was women, the truth was that it was much smaller then that.
“6. You don’t get to decide somebody else’s sexual orientation! If a guy feels comfortable calling himself straight even though he does gay porn, you absolutely don’t have the right to say otherwise. If you are sucking dick, getting fucked, and eating asshole on film for all the world to see then people will laugh in your face 99% of the time when you tell them that you are straight. Despite the delusions of a few, straight women don’t want to be with a man that fucks other men, and most men who do gay porn are indeed gay. I remember when Zeb Atlas and Barrett Long were on Howard Stern, they were mocked and ridiculed for claiming they were straight and none of the guys on the show bought it. That is how most people think and it’s not wrong or untrue. Jason Ridge was also on Stern and didn’t play the “I’M STRAIGHT” card and though Howard goofed on him a little he was treated with respect, because he was honest. I liked Diesels comments about the subject basically calling out the bullshit that these guys are pulling.
I think most people here would rather watch two guys who weren’t necessarily the best looking but were having hot, fun, sex and had some sexual energy and connection to one another and didn’t have the “going through the motions” sex that pollutes gay porn today.
“2. I absolutely hate studios that force gay/bi performers to call themselves straight for marketing purposes. But everybody is entitled to make a living. Sorry but I don’t respect a closet case pussy that is too chickenshit to be out of the closet. Using that logic, I should respect the closeted gay republican that votes against our own interests because he is just trying to make a living. Sure you can make a living off of pretending to be straight, but when you come out closet don’t expect people to have any respect for you, and don’t be shocked when people don’t think you have any integrity or balls, yet you want to benefit from the men and women that put their asses on the line like Dan Choi, Harvey Milk, and Barbara Gittings, but at the same time you want to financially benefit from the self loathing, closet case queens that can’t accept who they are.
GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!

srsly.

It all boils down to economics- more people love g4p that’s why it sells. THe fight for equality is for rights, it doesn’t mean everybody suddenly becomes sexy just because they are noisy. A diluted coffee will never be as good as a brewed coffee- don’t you think the patronage of g4pay only means that the silent majority of gays have made a decision in front of their computers & really finds straight guys sexy & gays just don’t cut it? I’m gay, I love straight guys, & I find I loathe more myself when I force myself to fantasize on gays. Just not sexy enough. Don’t you think we should just accept that & not let good taste be cheapened by nonsense politics? It’s unfair that just because you’re gay, you should settle for lesser quality fantasies just because of the politics of some unhappy souls. I don’t buy that shit that a gay should only fantasize on gays. A limp dick of a sexy straight guy will be loads hotter than any queen. Period. Selfloath? No, self-love- I love myself so much I don’t waste my time on cheap thrills.
Oat says
im throwing something off the general topic of gay for pay here:
one of the foremost meaning about being a part of the “gay” community (or I should more accurately say queer community) is acceptance.
Acceptance doesn’t mean absolutely no rejection, rather it’s a *process* of emotional/critical/cognitive recognizance of the differences within a group, especially a group as diverse as the queer community.
People like Cutlass who think there are “visual evidence” to one’s sexual identity hasten to bring conclusions/closure to such process and claim they have the answer to the negotiation and million dollar question of diversity, which has troubled the modern humans since homosapiens spawned.
For instance, sexual identity has at least 2 components: physical and mental. Cutlass probably refers to the “a man having sex with a man while maintaining erection/pleasure” as a visual evidence that such man is not straight. But the assumption is that such physical manifestation is a one-to-one connection with how one identifies.
Think about how identity works, (whether racial, gender, ethnic, age, etc) and you can probably tell that physical manifestation does not dictate one’s identity. I.e. physical behavior is hardly the end-all evidence for how one feels inside.
In addition, identity subjects to one’s will, not the other way around. Although this is contestable, I believe one has the right to choose to be what they want, even if it’s different from how they feel. These instances come mostly from religious cases: priests, buddhist monks, nuns, they all denounce a part of themselves that they admit to be “natural”.
So my point here is to hone in on the identity politics aspect of the argument against gay for pay (and not the performing aspect, which I agree the industry as a whole is slipping in creativity): that we are all inevitably flawed in certain assumptions and point of view in our arguments, because we each represent only a partial perspective. The important thing is we not hasten to close the argument and draw judgmental conclusions, but continue to open the question and ask more why.
@prohomo, i was saying a lot of people feel the need for themselves and others to “stick by” their sexual orientation. So I’m simply saying there’s no need for that: if you feel like sleeping with a man today, you sleep with a man, if you feel like sleeping with a woman today, you sleep with a woman. Why should how you feel be restricted by a label?
To me, sexual orientation is not a concrete category, but aggregated statistics: in my total life time, let’s say 100 years, I was attracted to X men and Y women, and my sexual orientation can be deduced thereafter.

Why do people hate on Gavin, he’s so hot and a tireless performer
