A ‘gay porn musical’? This wasn’t on my bingo card for 2025… Men.com just released a trailer of its Valentine’s Day sex scene and it’s a ‘gay porn musical’ titled The Bussycal. The scene features 3 popular gay porn stars Reese Rideout, Dom King, and Jake Preston. What are they singing about? ‘Gay For Pay’, of course. Check out the XXX trailer below. It’s great to see Reese getting fucked again.

Look, I’m sure someone thought it was a good idea at the time …

I mean. what do these people think we’re doing while watching porn??? so, you got the poppers out and towel, you got a raging hard on, turn on the screen and they’re singing ( badly, out of tune and corny unfunny lyrics)….bone killer…
..ever tried pissing and shitting at same time too ???
Max says
Haha – great last comment. Agree agree with all of this. I like variety in porn, but this does not work.
Josh says
Well put Ben. Just what I was thinking!

I liked the trailer and look forward to the scene! Is Dom King the biggest dick Reese has taken? The actual fucking looks hot.

I suggest you turn the sound while watching. That’s what I’m going to do!
Ed says
The singing is like an SNL skit. The singing should be a behind the scenes outtake at the end after you’re done with your business.
I think Reese being split roasted is hot tho.

I know Men.com gets a lot of hate, much of it justified, but there are times when I think people are too quick to criticise every little aspect and glorify earlier years (much as people like to do with virtually every studio).
I do think the focus on comedy, skits, props, ridiculous scenarios etc. is weirdly overdone and disproportionate. As BEN has already commented, do they think that’s what people actually want to see? Or do they see it as a captive audience who will just watch any old trash because there is enough variety of scenes, actors and decent sex across enough of the scenes to keep people interested despite the irrelevant crap they dress up most of the scenes with now?
I think some humour can be good if deployed selectively but it just feels like way too much, too infantile, broad and dumb to actually be appreciated by anyone. Some of the scenarios like someone being surprised to find someone else naked or fucking, or by the size of someone’s cock etc. could work if it just wasn’t always played in such a pantomime, heightened and silly way.
By way of contrast and to explain my attempt at fairness, I’ve seen SeanCody pick up a lot of flack on different blogs and social media criticising the looks of the actors, the more conventional porn nature of the scenes as almost scripted or acted (strangers having sex after seeing each other at the gym) rather than going for an illusion of reality, and the frequent use of a gym set.
I remember the earlier days of SeanCody being very twink heavy with way fewer otters and twunks. This wasn’t really my taste beyond an occasional guy, but I think in the 2010s there was a lot more variety in the guys and more older, less twinky guys that has suited my preference. There doesn’t really seem to be a clear identity now with a range of ages and types, and also a lot of performers making the pipeline from OnlyFans etc. which does chip away at the illusion of real guys going at it and a more scattershot approach. But I think this is quite reflective of the industry and the castings in general now.
The scripted scenes are more common across many studios with often light attempts at a story or scenario, but at least at SC they are relatively unobtrusive and take up little time unlike the Men.com comedy scenarios which proliferate now. The gym setting I actually find quite hot and don’t mind when they alternate between this and a bedroom. I understand some people don’t like certain elements or changes but I feel like at least there is a demonstrated understanding of the elements people find compelling (foreplay, sex) and a minimisation of the superfluous elements (plot, dialogue, elaborate comedy skits).
As regards Men.com, if something like this musical was just a completely random occasional thing, I think people would be more open to it, but given that this type of content is completely saturating the Men.com offering, it is baffling and wearying for anyone who just wants to enjoy the sex and would rather these elements were used sparingly or not at all, rather than becoming a big focus.
Anytime they use a different set, hire additional extras / actors, crazy costumes, props etc. all of those elements are surely adding to cost and work to plan and execute. Couldn’t that money be better spent on maybe hiring an additional actor to participate in the actual sex rather than a non-sex comedy role? Or to improve the camerawork? Allow more time for the actors to give real and not fake cumshots (not singling out this studio specifically, as I feel like this is quite widespread) or execute more positions? Or even more importantly, incentivise the actors to complete more sexual acts?
For example, imagine they saved the extra money spent on the zany shit, enough to pay someone like Dom King the right amount to film a solo dildo or bottoming with another actor scene? Or even just produce an extra scene now and then (their frequency of scenes is pretty high so again I’m not attacking them for that).
I don’t hate the studio, but it’s frustrating to see so much potential, with resources that could be put to better use. It’s like they are just chasing the “right in front of my salad” ethos for GenZ followers and TikTok likes rather than just focusing on hot porn?

Reese Rideout was such a slut with her first class ass, a hottie in action to get fucked hard in the past. It was very exciting for me. Happy to see him finally get fucked….
