If someone fired Zach of The Sword this person made a huge mistake. People liked the way Zach run the blog and appreciated his texts. Commenters were complaining about the change in the comments section. I think blogs are made for its readers but if this ‘retirement’ is true the readers were desregarded in this decision.

You can say “he wrote it for the fans” but in the end, if the endless stream of lies and mean-spirited gossip from Zach ended up costing AEBN more money than the blog itself made, that’s a good reason to fire the person writing the blog.
No company does anything like The Sword out of the goodness of their own hearts. It’s a business like any other.
Ask any of the major bloggers.. Queer Me Now, Queer Click, Accidental Bear, Gay Daily Hot, Banana Blog, givemegayporn… “would you still do this if you weren’t making money doing it” and I promise you that all of them would probably say “no.”

@Loreley Zach wasn’t fired, he still works for NakedSword, the site that runs TheSword. He just is working on projects not involving the blog anymore.
One of the main reason why he was removed from TheSword is the constant battle between him and Michael Lucas, or Duckface as I like to call him. Duckface was really pissed over a year ago when Zach found a story on him donating money money to Mitt Romney’s Campaign for the presidency. It is an insult to the gay community that duckface is donating for a homophobic president who will never work on giving gay Americans the rights they deserve.
What really pushed it though is Zach insinuated that a boycott of LE would be in the best interest of the gay community. This led to a response from duckface threatening Nakedsword that if something wasn’t done then LE studio will no longer be made available at Nakedsword.
So Zach deleted that story, and since then he has never promoted a scene or exclusive model from duckface’s studio ever again. And now what added that fuel to the fire is a story he did on Jett Black, which I did not see because it was removed within a couple of hrs that it was posted.
So call Zach whatever you want, but he went above and beyond what any other blogs did for the gay porn community. He wasn’t afraid to report on stories that no one else was touching. And for that I will always be truly grateful to him. He’s currently vacationing in Hawaii, so I wish him a great one!

I usually don’t get into these “spats” but this time I will – and say Michael Lucas is human garbage- he supported Romney?! Not surprised he is a racist-which I say becuz only a biased fool would support Romney over Obama, especially a gay one. Mr. Lucas is pure evil (I’m sure he loves this attention). He breaks the law, threatens models with deportation and the Russian Mafia (seriiously!) yet uses models who are not legal to work in US. He torments the employees at LE. He drove mr. Pam out with slave conditions, and when she quit, he blackmailed her to work for no pay before leaving, and threatened to ruin her career and reputation if she didn’t comply. BOYCOTT LE-there’s a ton of better, even great AND free porn out there and many cos. making the same stuff LE does with underpaid aging gym/tattoo guys. He’s also ruined people’s lives/careers (MATAN Shalev) with his psycho abuse. BOYCOTT LE!! Their streaming video doesn’t work a lot of the time, so spend ur $$ elsewhere. He is a plastic fraud who thinks he’s an intellectual. So was Hitler, and they’re both FASCISTS! May his face melt and dick fall off. He is not a friend to gays, just an exploiter.

Marty, is the information you presented factual, or second hand? Id it is factual and based on your first hand knowledsge, then Thank You for sharing. if your comments are based on second hand internet stories then please don’t perpetuate the myth that evrything we read on the internet is true.
Also, there are many gay people who are Republicans and support their party. Both the Democrtas and Republicans are flawed and although our current President tries hard, he really hasn’t been that successful. I am more concerned about my country and my economic stability than my right to get married to my partner. We have an excellent lawyer who has protected our rights as a couple for many years. I followed Mitt Romney’s campaign and I am very sure it had nothing to do with Michael Lucas lol.

Damn I had a whole long post, maybe it was too long, but maybe it was because of the links??? Oh well to summarize it all, I AM NOT Zach, but I am a big fan of his writing, but I do admit he goes a bit too excessive at times.

And Sam I’m sorry but gay republicans disgust me. It’s like a black man defending the confederacy. Republicans as a majority will never give us our right to marry so long as they are backed by their Christian beliefs. And they would rather see you take a beating to the streets than see you marry the one you love, and gain access to all those financial benefits of getting married.
