I guess this was the golden age of porn. I wouldnt know i would have been about 10. The guys look ok but not nearly as buff and bulky as today’s muscle studs. They guys also look older the the lead porn stars are today. I guess this was a different era and guys get into porn much younger age now. Most of the guys today would probably be rejected by studios like Randyblue and Seancody.
Falcon has turned into a relic. Films with boring sex and average and less then average guys.

The Golden Age of gay porn is thought by Historians of the industry and fans of “Vintage” gay porn to have been the 1970’s and ’80’s – when (how the mighty have now fallen) studio Colt was at the top of the tree – the stable for Beefcake Stallion models and porn stars – once owned and controlled by iconic photographic artist and legend, Jim French.
The 1990’s also offered us also some Icons and Legends such as Aiden Shaw, Colby Taylor, Bobby Blake, Sam Crocket, Steve Fox, Ray Harley, Blake Harper, Jason Branch, Jack Simmons … and many more of whom I have written Bios about and/or had contact with writing for both pre and post 2000 groups I co-own and have moderated since 2007. I have written literally hundreds –including Eric Hanson, Colt favourite, Tag Adams, Andre Bolla, Tom Chase, and many more.
Today, there are very few men I would consider to be genuine “Gay Porn Stars” as the industry has been infected with a great many mediocre “performers” rather than stars who happen to be allegedly reinventing themselves as “straight” (is this the new gay persona, I wonder?), or are Bisexual that makes us a great many acting in gay porn films today or bringing the industry to it’s feet with dreaded online “studios” such as Jake Cruse debasing the industry with more Gay-for-Pay” men bringing the industry down to a base level.
There here are some stars of the future of recent times such as black hunk, Roman Wright, the delicious Tommy Defendi and adorable Jimmy Fanz and others from just a platoon of very special men who will become Classic Men of tomorrow in the same way that those such as the only gay porn superstar, Casey Donovan, and other stars, Al Parker, Bruno, Roger, Jon and JW King, John Davenport, Eric and Jeff Stryker, and the many more from the 1970’s, ’80’s and ’90’s will be remembered.
The gay porn industry in the main is an army of men who have their bodies covered with tattoos from head to foot, and most look pretty gross, although there others such as to be lusted after, Logan McCree, who is a Sweetie with a brain and looks delicious as an Ambassador of good design and done with thought for his body. Most today who appear in the industry are, however, largely an army of Nomads who drift in and out as cum today gone tomorrow performers.
It is doubtful whether many of today’s men in gay porn or as models will be remembered in the same way as the Classic men of the Golden Age of gay porn with the same reverence, admiration or worship in the same way. A small number will, but most will not … many being considered only as “Gay-for-Pay” or lacking in talent (as with some directors) … but most will not attain the level of those of decades past as Classic Men IMHO!

One of my favorite Falcon moments comes from The Chosen, and it is Paul Morgan’s cum shot in that orgy scene pictured first, above, when he is sitting on the floor next to Derek Cameron. He shoots a crazy geyser, and Cameron grimaces and dodges to get out of the way. The entirety of Spokes, except for the parts with the perpetually soft stranger that interrupt the action; Giorgia Canali and Tony Bravo’s scene in The Other Side of Aspen II, and the Casey Donovan/Al Parker scene and the end orgy from the original Aspen are also stellar.
Mel is right: The Falcon of today bears no resemblance to the top-notch company of the past. You used to be able to count on Falcon to deliver something special. Nowadays it’s indiscernible from a bland, generic co. like JetSet.

I actually thought the guys were hotter back in the day. Just compare the talent Falcon had in the 80’s to the ones they have today, it’s no contest, the 80’s studs were hotter. It is true that Falcon didn’t really have a lot of muscle studs, they were more into the swimmer’s build for their models, bodybuilders were COLT‘s niche at the time and they also used to be a quality company unlike today.

I echo the sentiments of all that Falcon today just does NOT hold a candle to the Falcon of yesteryear….
For me: Crusin’, specifically the scenes with RACE JENSEN were incendiary! I also agree that Bill Henson was a GOD…Winner Take All was boner-iffic! I also loved Brad Stone in Workin’ Stiff.
