I understand the sentiment about G4P seemingly taking advantage of susceptible gay men. I find G4P more of an interesting entity. I mean, these are reportedly straight men who get paid to have anal sex with another guy. How many gay men would willingly go down on a woman on camera even if they were paid? G4Ps often say the pay is better and they get better recognition for their work in gay than straight porn. I guess fans are fans no matter what?
I don’t find O’Brian particularly appealing; just because he’s got a big dick doesn’t mean a whole lot to me. But, I didn’t find him overly arrogant. He was upfront with his sexuality. And whoever edited the interview had to repeat ad nauseum the part where he said he was straight, obviously playing up his G4P persona, for whatever that’s worth.
Maybe his diction had something to do with the way he came across. All I knew was he kinda sounded like the BBC but not really as he had a tendency to swallow the ending of his words- I kinda needed to pay attention to him to understand him. But what do I know about the British? I mean, dude got all suited up like a banker for a porn interview. On an entirely separate note, making it to EWR does not count as visiting NYC.

Paddy O Brien is very gay. The pretend,over done masculinity is so not natural. He would be perfectly at home in a really camp gay bar like Barcode. I am not impressed. However,is it probably all part of act. And that is what this about acting. If it makes money and good business then what is the harm in that.
