here are a range of options for non-black people who believe that black lives matter: help protect fellow protestors on the streets. show up to protests with deference to black protestors. supply water, snacks, hand sanitizer. donate money. help disseminate reliable information. amplify black voices instead of offering your two cents. donate money. educate yourself on prison abolition, alternative forms of justice, and the white supremacist roots of the police.

Here is a little recap of what happened yesterday…. now so we are clear I didn’t not participate in the vandalism or the destruction of property it was important to show how broken this government system is. The protesters were shot at with rubber bullets and tear gas, when they were not being aggressive this has to stop and we have to have a better system. My roommate was shot twice with rubber bullets and beaten with a bouton trying to protect young women from getting that beating… we have to do better as a government #blacklivesmatter

#blacklivesmatter just so that we’re clear. I’ve been vocal on other platform we’re I do my outreach and speaking. But here i don’t usually make graphic statements. So I’m late. I read a snarky statement today about memes saving the world. So I made a meme which won’t save the world but will destroy any concept of silence. Rather than contribute to more sarcasm, let’s contribute to ending the silence. Use our platforms. Yes trivial in the big picture but 100 times more effective than nothing or the loss of hope that sarcasm creates.
