I’m sure that some studios are very well aware of the status of a porn star. Every now and then there are exceptions (like Jim Ferro when he did that Titan scene). Most studios either refuse to work with HIV+ performers if they know they’re HIV+ or take every precaution they can, unless it’s bareback porn then they don’t care

I’m sure a lot of these porn stars do let their status known to companies and performers. EITHER WAY, you should be treating everyone you have sex with, unless it’s your significant other that you wholeheartedly trust, as they are HIV positive and use condoms when necessary. So it shouldn’t really matter either way.

Cole isn’t in the industry afaik anymore, but he entered the industry with everyone already knowing he was HIV+, and he’s done movies for major studios, including Titan.
