I cast Nick Capra because he’s a hot daddy now… and hot daddies are what a lot of people are asking to see (Just look at how the more grey hair in Dirk Caber’s beard, the more you see him and the higher his profile has become). Nick and I have had a great working relationship and friendship since he starred alongside John Magnum in “Fuck Your Friends” which I shot for Cocksure Men in 2009. Nick took a lot of time off and has come back looking different and older, yes, but great. He still delivers a bang-on performance, is a joy to work with and clearly has a fan base that wants to see him (take a look at the Twitter explosion that took place all day Sunday while he was Tweeting live from the set). After the fantastic experience this past weekend, we at Titan are happy to have him back and I’m looking forward to working with him again in 2015.
On a personal side note, Mason Wyler has always been my buddy and even with his public battles with his own demons, I’ve always been on his side. Growing up and making all your mistakes under the microscope of the gay porn blogosphere like he did wasn’t easy for someone as unguarded as Mason, and I’m glad he took some time to get himself centered away from the slings and arrows that some were a bit too happy to throw his way.
