It will be hard choices all the way for this year’s Prowler Porn Awards to be held at Fire in Vauxhall on Thursday 11 May 2017. More than 4,480 nominations have been received for what promises to be one of the hottest and most exciting gay award nights in London in 2017.
Nominations for the 18 award categories – hosted by gay porn director Mr Pam and celebrity drag artist Danny Beard – closed on March 30 with many people hoping their pick of the industry’s DVDs, porn websites, pornstars, directors and cam performers will make the final cut.
Voting will close at midnight on Thursday 4 May, a week before the event which is already attracting the attention of the fans, performers and media. Sponsored by Apply To Model, Prowler Distribution, CAM4, the French gay channel PinkX, Eurocreme, UK Hot Jocks, Butch Dixon and UKNakedMen, the awards – now in their fourth year continue to showcase the strength of the industry, particularly in the UK.
Ben Willis, founder and event organiser of the Prowler Porn Awards wants it to be the main showcase for gay talent in the industry.
“The UK continues to be one of the great gay entertainment centres and there is every reason to believe this year’s awards will push the industry to new heights. It will be a night for anyone with an interest in the gay scene and if you’re a pornstar aged 18 to 80, or a budding director or simply a fan of some of the industry’s leading players, then it will be the place to be on Thursday 11 May.”
