I feel like this makes a mockery of testing. Blue is publicly open about his HIV status. There’s no point in talking about testing in the press release. Also I see no one in this craze talking about how HIV can develop immunity to drugs which is always an added risk. It’s why condoms are recommended for all encounters and in combination with things like testing and medication even for partners with a mutual HIV infection. Condoms are the most widely available form that’s a physical barrier that protects from multiple infections in addition to HIV. If these studios truly practiced the safety they preach, condoms would always be used. Men should see/hear that the safest sex is a combination of condoms, testing, medication, communication, and so on to encourage these safe sex practices. There’s no sure fire evidence that watching BB porn equals private BB sex but if condoms in porn help even one guy feel comfortable to put on a condom then I think it’s worth it. Michael Lucas once ran on stage at one of the awards shows to yell at the whole porn world for giving an award to a former BB performer.
