Will Wikle Interview: The Stillest Hour Official Drink, Fucking A French Guy at A Bar & His Upcoming Porn Project

With the premiere of CockyBoys’ long-awaited project THE STILLEST HOUR just around the corner. I think this will be the best time to learn more about one of its stars, Will Wikle. He is about to add “porn performer” to his long resume (from travel show host to healthcare). Queer Me Now got a chance to talk to Will Wikle about his experience filming gay porn movie with CockyBoys, his co-stars, his favorite porn stars, weirdest place he ever had sex, and a sneak peek of his upcoming porn project!

(Just in case) What will you describe yourself to people who don’t know you? Who is Will Wikle?
I don’t take myself seriously…at all. I’m the typical Sagittarius. We’re very aggressive about having intense experiences and squeezing every last drop out of our lives. I’ve been/am a reality TV star, travel show host, writer, gogo dancer, actor, healthcare professional, and now porn performer. I look at every day as the potential to write another insane journal entry I can read when I’m an old man.

Let’s get this out of the way, Why did you decide to do porn?
I’d been asked before and always found it an interesting option but never felt it was the right time. Then a few years ago, Colby and I did a super sexy photo shoot together and we started discussing the intersection of art, gay culture, and porn. I left that shoot very inspired and the next morning I texted him with an idea and that idea eventually grew into Stillest Hour.

How’s the responses you got since the announcement in February that you will be starring in a porn movie?
I already have a very complicated biologic family dynamic, so the only opinions I’ve ever cared about are my man, my true friends, and of course, my own. After discussing the intention and thought process behind my decision, everyone understood and continues to be completely supportive. I learned way back in the Big Brother days to never read a single internet comment (good or bad) so trolls can be as vicious as they want. I’ll never see any of it.

What can you tell us about the story / concept behind The Stillest Hour?
I don’t want to give too much away about the plot because we want it to be a mind fuck in the best way. I will say that it is a psychosexual lust triangle between a conservative professional, an emotional artist, and an impressionable millennial. The movie’s themes deal with the idea of control. What does it mean to actually be in control? What happens when we lose it? Or, maybe, does control even really exist at all?

Can you tell us why it take so long for CockyBoys to release this project?
That is a good question and one that Jake Jaxson is better suited to answer. He usually releases a long statement with each feature film and I’m sure he’ll reference the lengthy genesis of this particular film.

Did your experience filming gay porno different than what you expected?
100%!! COMPLETELY!! All my porn star friends have always said “You’ll never know what it’s like until you do it” and that is just the TRUTH. It’s not real sex, but it’s not necessarily fake sex either…porn sex lives somewhere in between. I think the obstacle for any adult performer to overcome is the time it takes to film a high quality scene. Drink plenty of Gatorade because it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Did you get any tips or suggestions from your former porn star partner?
Not as much tips as much as actual on set inspiration. I still get turned on watching his scenes and would reference them frequently so our sexual connection is woven throughout the film. Actually the night after I shot with Colby, I jacked off to one of his scenes and sent him the video. It was my third time to cum that day!

What do you think about your co-stars Colby Keller and Levi Karter?
If I was going to do this, I wanted it to be an iconic experience and that meant working with icons only. Colby’s artistic identity and adult career speaks for itself and he was a calming influence on me throughout the process. The story initially was just about our characters and then after meeting Levi, I was inspired to make this into a triangle with a younger perspective and additional layer. We all love Levi for his free spirit and social media antics, but he is a naturally gifted performer who gets to work when the camera starts rolling. They’re both stars…total packages.

Do you have any funny stories that happened behind the scenes during your filming with CockyBoys?
Filming up at the Cockyboys mansion is awesome in the way that it turns into sort of a sleepaway camp vibe right down to the campfires and hook ups. I’m sure Bethenny Frankel would love to know that Skinnygirl Margarita was the official drink of The Stillest Hour. At one point, Levi took an empty bottle and made a Skinnygirl bong so maybe she should entertain the unique branding opportunities there.

What kind of porn do you like to watch?
Okay so being 100% real, I don’t watch a lot of porn (obviously not for any hypocritical moral objection). I think mostly because I’ve been in a relationship for five years and we have so much sex that I’m not even really jacking off that much. However, sometimes we will watch porn while we fuck and we’re not picky. We’ll press play and roll with whatever vibe is available.

What’s your favorite sexual positions?
Good question. I’m very emotional and intense so if I’m working from that connection, positions seem to be sort of irrelevant. What do you like to do in your free time? What’s your hobbies?
I’m a major animal rescue advocate and volunteer at a awesome shelter in NYC called Animal Haven. We recently took in our fourth dog and so I spend a lot of time trying to show my fur family a good time. Bae and I also love to cook and we do a good bit of Netflix binging as well.

If you can direct your own porn movie, who’s the porn stars you want to cast in this movie and what’s the porn movie about?
Anything that brought Tiger Tyson out of retirement. As a young gay, he was probably my most consistent go-to JO inspiration. Maybe we could create a late 90’s/early 2000’s throwback vibe with like a VHS camera and use that same orange apartment he’d film in all the time. He would need a partner so I guess I’d be “forced” to direct AND star.

This fall, I was supposed to film an epic project with one of the most legendary names in gay porn EVER(!), but it got pushed back to early 2017. It won’t be traditionally pornographic, but it will be hypersexual and quite relevant to the current political climate. It’s pretty ambitious, but I love a challenge. Wish me luck.
